In reply to Kevy Kev’s post on November 26, Just thought I would offer up this information in the hope that it may help. So, I contacted support, and this is what solved the issue. Oh, and of course, you get your x resolution back!

Just paying it forward as I know how frustrating it can be. Rolling back the driver fixed it for me. This was a big help Thank you! All is fine now and pages are not skewed extra wide in all my programs anymore. The old driver has many different resolutions listed as well. The problem I found is that after the recent major Win10 update the “roll back” option is not available in the driver properties: But if you select Update Driver, and then “Browse my computer for driver software” there is an option “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on this computer”: And now you can select the version 8.

You may update the drivers from the device manager as mentioned ion the previous post or download it from the manufacturer’s website. I just had the same issue when I did a Windows update a little while ago. Click Uninstall. Reboot your computer when it’s finished for the changes to take effect.

If you look in the device manager before you reboot, the driver or Display Adapters may not even be there.

Once rebooted, the screen will go blank or flicker a few times, but all should be right with the world afterward. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

I don’t see any option to uninstall the concerned update. The “Uninstall update” option allows me to uninstall the typical windows security patches and other related updates but the update concerned doesn’t feature in the list. I have attached the screenshot to highlight the update post which I have been facing the said problems. Although the software is installed, I can’t launch them.
