How To Select Windows 11 Home or Pro Edition During Installation
I purchased Windows 10 Pro directly from Microsoft. I downloaded and ran the Media Installation Tool. It did not give me an option to select Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro, it just had the option “Windows 10”.
I ran it from a computer that was already running Pro, and selected the checkbox that told it to “Select the best options for this computer”, hoping that would put Pro on it. But sadly, it keeps installing Windows Home on my new computer instead of Pro. I then go to the Activation center on the new computer, and tell it I have a key to upgrade to Pro, enter the key I received when I purchased Pro, and it ei cfg windows 10 pro download erroring out. Does anyone know how I can install Pro directly instead of Download teamviewer latest 10 I really don’t like this whole idea of doing an install, and THEN immediately an upgrade, that’s so inefficient!

Now when you clean install Windows it will install Pro. If you just wish to upgrade from Home to Pro then you can just enter the Pro key which will unlock the Pro features.
